The Poetry Gallery contains lyrical poems, sonnets, songs, and villanelles by Dorothea Barth.
My poetic inspiration comes from nature, the realms of fantasy, music, and matters of the heart. Occasionally, if I have an image that relates well to a particular poem, I have included it, but for the most part I prefer that the words are the messenger.
This website has recently been redesigned to make it easier to explore. Each poem is now linked to its own page and grouped by theme. Where a poem fits several categories, there may be some overlap. Sonnets and Villanelles are grouped separately regardless of theme.
