Economy and real estate
May leave you pond'rous and perplexed
Add to that the fear of flu
And you may turn a wee bit vexed
The cure for such discomfort
Is not so very far away
Just hiding in your music chest
It’s waiting to emerge and play
For here’s a perfect antidote
If life has left you feeling sour
Grab your fiddle and your bow
Then play some love songs for an hour
Concerned that your career may end?
Inert because the sky may fall?
Play a jig or play a reel
Quite soon you’ll not feel blue at all
And if your fears have come to pass
Do give those long-lost scales a try
Short on cash and long on hours
Give fingers ample time to fly
Has confidence escaped you now?
Adventure waits, so do not rest!
Frolic with Old Masters
Let Bach and Mozart give you zest
Our music offers many gifts
Reminds us that whatever ails
Beauty ‘s never far away
An allure that never fails!
